DEPRESSED BUTTONS/THE FAINT The Faint are an electronic/rock band from Omaha. Originally having Bright Eyes‘ Conor Oberst in the band, they are now a five piece band lead by Todd Fink. The Faint have played Coachella, Glastonbury, Ultra, Street Scene and almost every major festival imagined! This past year they split from Saddl Creek Records and released a single off Boys Noize Records. Since then, they have started a new project called Depressed Buttons for their remixes and live DJ shows.
Depressed Buttons is a new project from Todd Fink, Clark Baechle and Jacob Thiele. As three-fifths of The Faint they have a serious penchant for synthesizers and dance music. Depressed Buttons is a foray into the electronic ether, the digital dimension and the future of sound. Don’t let the word depressed fool you. When speaking of buttons and switches rather than emotions and psycho-babble, being depressed means being switched ON!
“Bloody Beetroots gave one hell of a show! Stage diving, crowd surfing, and people socking each other up is the name of the game when it comes to a show by the masked ones. Steve Aoki dropped in to party and even decided to play Warp TWICE. The Voyeur venue in downtown San Diego was bananas, with LED stage lighting straight out of Daft Punk’s pyramid… “
