Aug 6 Update: Proxy moved to 10pm slot and Tiga moved to 9pm slot
Ahh…. to think that almost a year ago the LAFD made the extremely unfortunate decision to shut down a href=”http://www.hardfest.com” title=”hardfest.com” target=”_blank”>HARD Summer at the Forum. But not to worry, HARD is back and badder than ever with a KILLER lineup and a much bigger (and safer) location. Pretty interested in seeing the transformation of the LA Historic State Park….
Happily enough, we have two HUGE names from the lineup coming right through our doors within the week, which makes the troubling set times a little bit easier to cope with. So if you absolutely can’t miss any second of Crystal Castles, Major Lazer, or SOULWAX, no worries! Our good friends L.E.D. are making it possible for Digitalism and Proxy to make it down to San Diego to cause a little chaos at Voyeur!
This friday Riva Starr will be hitting the decks here at Voyeur. Just over a month ago Radio 1 released his Essential Mix, which is quite the selection of funky and eclectic beats the Italian native is known for. You can download it here. The tracklist includes various songs from artists under his record label Snatch!, along with several songs featured on his album released this past January, “If Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade”.
We’re definitely excited to make some Lemonade! See you Friday!

“Bloody Beetroots gave one hell of a show! Stage diving, crowd surfing, and people socking each other up is the name of the game when it comes to a show by the masked ones. Steve Aoki dropped in to party and even decided to play Warp TWICE. The Voyeur venue in downtown San Diego was bananas, with LED stage lighting straight out of Daft Punk’s pyramid… “
The Bloody Beetroots‘ highly anticipated debut album, “Romborama” drops September 8th. For a preview of what to expect, check out “Awesome,” which features The Cool Kids. Download it from Grimy Goods for free!
