WHAT: FELIX CARTAL with Harvard Bass and DJ Krassy
WHEN: Saturday, September 26, 2009

COVER: $20
GUEST LIST: No cover before 10:30 PM with RSVP

Felix Cartal released “Skeleton” in May and will soon be releasing “Drone” on Dim Mak Records this year. Felix has done dates with Crookers, MSTRKRFT, Bloody Beetroots, LA Riots and more. Cartal has done remixes for MSTRKRFT, Britney Spears, Laidback Luke and Julien K.
Also performing will be San Diego’s own Harvard Bass who’s been getting play from Tiga and Crookers. Victor Ramos’ altar ego, Harvard Bass, was spawned in December 2007 in a natural evolution towards music production. He was instantly adopted by Sound Pellegrino, an Institubes sub-label curated by Teki Latex and DJ Orgasmic, after they invited him to remix “Sixpack Anthem”.
As demonstrated in his debut single “Caked” and “81”, the music of Harvard Bass is a combination of elegant, smooth and sophisticated minimalism on one side and bad ass dirty jacking ghetto house grooves with filthy drums and simple, obsessive riffs on the other. Such a formula has earned him massive support from DJs like Tiga, Laidback Luke, Crookers, Benny Benassi, Diplo, Brodinski, Christian Martin, Jess & Crabbe, Sinden, Feadz, Acid Girls, Fluokids and many, many more.
Armed with the musical taste, talent and tenacity to succeed, Harvard Bass is poised to put his stamp on 2009. Add to that an impending European tour, remixes of DJ Orgasmic, Acid Girls, Toxic Avenger and many more original tracks in the works, the sky is the limit for how high he can go. It’s as simple as that.
Opening will be DJ Krassy.

In the UK, Gaydar Radio was the first national station to champion Frankmusik and tracks from Complete Me. Initially interviewed by Alex Baker as part of the station’s coverage of national student gay pride, Frankmusik performed a number of live tracks, which were then playlisted as part of an album teaser. On 8 July 2009, the second single to be taken from the album was A-listed by BBC Radio 1. His rise to fame was also followed closely by his local radio station, 107.8 Radio Jackie, the Sound of SW London which was the first station to broadcast his music.
Frankmusik’s debut album Complete Me debuted on the UK Albums Chart at Number 13 on 17 August 2009. This was a fall from its midweek position of Number 5. At Glastonbury in 2009 (Frankmusik’s first performance there) it was announced that “Time Will Tell” will be the next released single.

On 18th August 2009 a more extensive UK tour was announced to take place during November and December 2009… Just two days later on 20th August 2009, it was announced that Frankmusik would join the Perez Hilton Presents tour in Autumn 2009.

WHAT: PACO OSUNA with Shoddy Lynn and Anthony Ross
WHEN: Friday, September 18, 2009
WHERE: Voyeur | www.voyeursd.com
COVER: $20
GUEST LIST: No cover before 10:30 PM with RSVP

Paco Osuna found interest in music at the age of 14; by the time he was 20 he completed his first track and in 1994 he turned his passion into his profession. His career jump-started when he earned a residency at the legendary club Amnesia in Ibiza, allowing him to establish himself as an artist to watch, and subsequently joined the roster of the prestigious Cocoon Agency. From this launching point, his own musical creativity was put to the task and he quickly began creating productions for labels such as Serial Killer, Morbid, and Real State, until 2003, when he started his own label, Shake Records, which was when Paco began to formally develop his own unique style.
In 2006, Paco Osuna created his second label, Mindshake, which continues his mission to reach his full potential as an artist. With international contemporaries such as Skoozbot, Ambivalent, Paul Ritch, Matteo Spedicatti and Andrea Ferlin on board, Mindshake began to quickly receive praise and great success attracting attention from the world over. Within his own country, he helped open Club 4, a club with a concept, which has emerged as a foundation of the original Barcelona scene, establishing itself as the choice for variety and accessibility to new musical tendencies.
As if this was not enough, Paco Osuna is now intimately linked to Plus 8, with two strong EP releases to date, Crazy and Orbeat, both receiving great success on a global level. This continuous movement has characterized Paco throughout his career, and he has diversified yet again creating a new hybrid DJ/live set, which he has presented internationally in prestigious clubs and events like Awakenings Amsterdam), Fabric (London) and Goa Club (Rome). Thus, his dedication, skill and popularity, have led to several tours around the globe with stops at DEMF (Detroit), WMC (Miami), SAMC (Buenos Aires), and Amore(Rome) to name a few.
Paco Osuna continues to evolve his own unique sound. He has the rare ability to take the most pure minimalistic audio palette and inject it with his own personality, with an emphasis on clarity, momentum, depth, agility and intelligence. Utilizing these traits, combined with his unbridled creativity and innovation while performing live on stage, his strength, passion and energy shows through in his dynamic sets, creating a story and establishing a unique connection with his audience.
Paco recently has performed at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival as well as New York’s Electric Zoo Festival alongside Armin Van Buuren, Richie Hawtin, Deadmau5, David Guetta and more.
Also performing will be Shoddy Lynn and Anthony Ross.
